Round 9 vs Penrith Panthers
The WA Reds have won their final game of the season against the Penrith Panthers in Penrith at Centrebet Stadium this afternoon. Final Score 28-22.
A massive win over a traditionally and historically strong junior base team in these competitions and other, the Penrith Panthers.

WA Reds SG Ball side picks up first ever away win! Leaving the best to last the Reds boys beat the strongest RL nursery in the world, Penrith Panthers, 28-22. Great way to end the season and good luck to all the lads in your future playing careers. Hope to see you running out for the WA Reds NRL side in 2013!
Re: Round 9 vs Penrith Panthers
The WA Reds SG Ball side says farewell to captain Eddie Proudler, he will be too old to play in the SG Ball side next season and has had two great years leading the side. What a way to send him off, in the WA Reds first ever away win.
The WA-Redszone wishes him luck into the future and hopes and NRL clubs picks him up for the NYC Toyota cup. If an NRL club does this, I'm sure we will see him running out as a WA Red in the 2013 NRl premiership.

Reds v Panthers
I was there today and witnessed history in the making.
The game was actually played at St Marys Stadium on a very wet field.
An excellent game by all the boys, they never gave up despite being behind at half time by 16-6.
Every player who took the field appeared to be enjoying themselves and took it up to the Panthers for the full 70 minutes.
It is difficult to pick individual players as standouts , however in my opinion 10, 1, 4, 3 8 and 21 played great, their attack and defence is to be commended.
These boys can hold their heads high after the efforts they put in this year. I have enjoye every moment of it.
